DURAL SEALING SYSTEM

Post-Dural Puncture Headache (PDPH) is a prevalent complication of epidural anaesthesia worldwide, generated by a cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak through an unintended opening of dura mater. At present, there is not an effective treatment for PDPH. This instantaneous new dural sealing system, which allows repair the lesion at the same time when it is caused, is designed to prevent the onset of PDPH in order to avoid further patient suffering, as well as reducing costs derived from the clinical problem.
