12th FISABIO Summer School in Biomedical Research and Public Health
| The FISABIO Summer School is addressed to students, professionals and practitioners of biomedical research, public health, and other biological and health sciences. FISABIO is a research foundation of the Valencian Health Department that unites several health science research centers in the region, including Fisabio-Public Health, and continues the tradition of holding an annual summer school started by the Center for Public Health Research (CSISP) in 2011. This FISABIO Summer School will be held from the 19st of June to the 7th of July 2023, with an additional week yet to be fixed, and will focus on the area of Genomics and Health, with a strong hands-on component and direct experience of the application of genomic science in a Public Health research center. The school will consist of 3 independent modules that will include theoretical lectures, research seminars, and practical sessions. The summer school will take place via a hybrid format, i. e. classes will run simultaneously face to face and online to allow students to choose the modality that best suits their needs. Classes will be taught in English or Spanish depending on the module by researchers from FISABIO, the University of València, the Spanish Biomedical Research Consortium for Epidemiology and Public Health (CIBERESP) and other leading international institutions.
